Are you going a bit crazy? Miss going out on a date with your partner? Or just going out with a friend? Doing anything at all that isn’t Netflix-and-chill?

Join us for a special #stayhome partner event! RISE Massage and Wellness has teamed up with Modo Yoga to bring you a night of couple massage via ZOOM!

When: Sunday August 2, 2020, from 4–5:30 pm Central US/Canada Time

To attend, please register here. ZOOM will email you the class link once you’ve registered.

About The Workshop

In this 90-minute workshop, you and your partner will take turns giving and receiving a Thai-Yoga massage as a licensed professional teaches you how to tailor your touch to your partner’s specific needs. This tutorial is not limited to romantic couples; it is a unique bonding experience for parents and children, caregivers and patients, co-workers, and friends of all kinds. Thai bodywork blends elements of stretching and massage to leave you feeling limber, relaxed, and more connected to your partner than ever before.

About the Teacher

Julia Traylor, owner of RISE Massage, Stretch, and Wellness, is a licensed massage and yoga therapist with 14 years’ experience. She specializes in Stretch Bodywork, an innovative blend of Thai bodywork, deep tissue, and pain management massage. Julia LOVES empowering people to care for themselves and their loved ones through partner massage and stretch!

What You Should Do To Prepare

To attend a Zoom Workshop, you’ll want to do the following in advance:

1) Sign up for a free Zoom account, and register for the workshop. Do this now, so that you’re not scrambling right before class. We will lock the class after 10 minutes.

2) Find a quiet space with few distractions. Lay down a soft mat or stack a few blankets on top of each other. Have a spare blanket and some pillows handy. Put the fur-babies in a different room (they will think its play time). Optional: essential oils, candles, soft music.

3) Wear loose, breathable clothing you can move around in. Wash your hands and feet.

4) A few minutes before class time, follow the link from the registration email to join the meeting. You’ll be taken to the waiting room.

5) Once class time starts, we will admit you from the waiting room to the classroom. You’ll be muted upon entry and can choose to either have your video on (so we can all see you) or off (so that you are invisible to me and to other participants). Please do what makes you comfortable.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us with questions, suggestions, or feedback. To schedule a private stretch, bodywork, meditation, or couples instructional session, make your appointment here.
